Description:

Finding credible, up-to-date data to justify grant requests can be a time consuming process, especially when you need information for custom geographies like school districts, health system service areas, or specific ZIP codes and census tracts. Digging through multiple federal data sources and trying to turn raw numbers into clear, compelling evidence often slows down the grant writing and evaluation process.

During this webinar Jordan Rhodes will introduce SparkMap, an easy-to-use data tool that brings together information from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, CDC, and other trusted sources to simplify needs assessments and research. You’ll see how SparkMap helps nonprofits and researchers quickly find the data, maps, and visualizations they need to support stronger proposals and evaluations.

You’ll learn how to:
  • use SparkMap’s free Community Needs Assessment to locate reliable, up-to-date data for your community;
  • create maps and visualizations that clearly support grant needs statements;
  • work with unique or custom geographies such as school districts, ZIP codes, and census tracts; and,
  • apply SparkMap data to grant writing, program evaluation, and everyday research tasks
Who should attend:

This webinar is ideal for grant writers, program managers, evaluators, and nonprofit professionals who want to save time, strengthen their data-driven storytelling, and feel more confident backing up their funding requests with credible evidence.
