You can search through thousands of grant opportunities, all active and accepting proposals in the coming year! Our researchers are regularly adding new profiles and updating our existing ones. Check out a sample profile to see the type of information we provide.

What We Include

This database features all private grantmakers:

  • independent, family, community, and corporate foundations
  • corporate giving programs
  • faith-based grantmakers
  • any other associations with a grantmaking program

Before you start searching, learn more about the Research process and our Search Terms.

Select the filters on the left, and click [Submit].

  1. Select your Geographic Scope.
    • You can select Global funders that give in every country.
    • You can even include grantmakers who focus specifically on developing countries.
    • Select your Continent to get a list of grantmakers giving across an entire continent.
    • You will then be able to select your Country.
  2. Select your Area of Interest.
    • You can select as many as you like. The results will list funders that give in any of those areas.
    • You can instead list only funders who give in all of those areas. Just change "Match Any" to "Match All".
  3. You can include other terms:
    • if you are seeking a specific Type of Support
    • if you need to filter by App Deadline Date
    • if you want to approach a particular Type of Funder
    • if you only want the Location of Grantmaker of those near you
  4. You can search by a keyword, but only after you have used our search terms. Those terms can yield better results since those are the terms that many funders use to describe their support.
  5. You can also search by the EIN of the funder.
  6. Finally, you can describe your work (or enter your website) and our AI will choose the right search terms for the strongest matches.
