The Ramsar Regional Center – East Asia (RRC-EA), one of the regional initiatives formally recognized by the Ramsar Convention, provides support through the RRC-EA Wetland Fund for wetland conservation projects in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
