Description:

Many proposals describe what an organization does. The strongest proposals demonstrate what changes because of it.

If your proposal explains your services but not the measurable change they create, reviewers are left asking, “So what difference will this actually make?” In today’s funding environment, activities alone are not persuasive. Funders want clear evidence that their investment will lead to specific, meaningful, and measurable results.

During this TargetED, Alice Ruhnke will show you how to build outcome frameworks that are specific, measurable, and aligned with funder expectations including economic and community-wide impact.

You’ll learn how to:
  • differentiate outputs, short-term outcomes, long-term outcomes, and systems-level change;
  • develop credible, measurable indicators;
  • quantify cost avoidance, economic contribution, or broader community impact; and,
  • strengthen evaluation plans to reinforce accountability and impact.

You’ll leave with clearer outcome language, stronger impact framing, and a more persuasive case for results.

Who should attend:

This session is for grant professionals who want their proposals to clearly demonstrate measurable results, not just well-described activities. It’s especially valuable for organizations that struggle to define outcomes or show what meaningful change will occur because of their programs.

After the webinar, you’ll receive:
  • slides and handouts; and,
