Overview
We pride ourselves on offering our members examples of recent, winning grant proposals. If you recently submitted a grant proposal that was funded, we want to hear from you! GrantStation's Winning Grant Proposal Competition aims to recognize and share well-written proposals with a compelling narrative and a strong plan.
The 2025 Winning Grant Proposal Competition
is now closed!
We will be evaluating all of the entries and contacting the winning applicants over the next few months.

Submission Requirements
- Applications must have won a grant award (either government or private) between $25,000 and $1,100,000 USD, in 2024-2025.
- Submissions should include the:
- Proposal narrative (components may vary depending on the funder),
- Program budget,
- Budget narrative.
- Do not submit any other documents.
Additional Eligibility Information
- Anyone, from any country, may apply.
- GrantStation Membership is not required.
- Entries are limited to one per organization or proposal writer.
- Entries will be accepted through June 30, 2025, or until 200 entries are received.
- Winners will be announced in September 2025.

- $500 cash prize

Frequently Asked Questions
If your proposal won a private or government grant between $25,000 and $1,100,000 USD in 2024-25, you're eligible. Open to applicants worldwide.
Only submit:
- Project narrative (including items such as summary, background, needs, goals, work plan, evaluation, sustainability, etc.)
- Budget
- Budget narrative
You can upload them all as one PDF, or as two separate documents as needed.
No. Do not include:
- 501(c)(3) letters
- Organization budgets
- Audits
- Board/resume info
- Any other attachments
Based on a scoring rubric developed by GrantStation.
- First reviewed through an entry screening process.
- Finalists reviewed by an expert judges panel.

Prize-winning proposals will be public on GrantStation.com, but redaction is possible after selection.
