Malaria and tuberculosis remain two of the most widespread, infectious and dangerous diseases worldwide, particularly in lower income countries. There are many nonprofits who have made it their mission to tackle both of these diseases. These nonprofits are only able to do their work thanks to the funding of tuberculosis and malaria grants.

These grants can be used to cover all kinds of initiatives - including improving diagnostic access, providing community health education and expanding access to treatments and care. There are many different organizations that might provide these kinds of grants. This includes many private foundations, such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. 

When drafting a tuberculosis or malaria grant proposal, it's essential to use ample statistics to back up your claims. You need to prove that you have a grasp of the issues facing your particular community, and can clearly explain how your nonprofit is poised to make a difference. This could include incidence and mortality rates for these diseases in your targeted region, treatment access gaps and demographics on at-risk populations. Good places to start your research can include the WHO Malaria Data Explorer or the WHO Global Tuberculosis Report.
