Educational institutions are always involved in a constant process of curriculum development. Educational materials need constant revision and updating to remain relevant and timely. This constant work takes an investment of time and effort that many educational institutions struggle to meet. This is why many nonprofits are involved in the business of curriculum development. 

These nonprofits are only able to do their work through the generous funding provided by curriculum development grants. These grants help cover a wide range of purposes and programs. These include the creation of new lesson plans, teaching materials, online learning resources and specialized education programs.

There are a variety of entities that provide these kinds of grants. Good examples of these include the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) or the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  

When drafting a curriculum development grant proposal, it's important that you use relevant data.
