Protecting endangered species isn’t just about preserving something that we can never get back. It’s also essential for maintaining biodiversity and environmental resilience. And yet, there are many species that are on the brink of vanishing forever. There are many nonprofits who have made it their mission to help protect these species. But these nonprofits are only able to do what they do thanks to the generous donations provided by endangered species grants. 

These grants can be used to cover a variety of important initiatives, from habitat preservation and species monitoring, to anti-poaching programs and conservation breeding. There are many different organizations that might provide these kinds of grants. This includes many private foundations, such as the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund or the Rainforest Trust. 

When drafting endangered species grant proposals, you’ll want to collect relevant and accurate data about the species in question. This could include the current conservation status of the species, or threats to its habitat and health. Good places to start doing research could include the IUCN Red List, EDGE of Existence and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility
