Land use planning is integral to the process of sustainable development, environmental protection and the creation of livable, people-friendly communities. As our urban populations grow, land use planning will become only increasingly important. This is why there are already many nonprofits working in this space. However, these nonprofits are only able to pursue this mission thanks to the funding provided by land use planning grants.
