Visual Arts Grants for Nonprofits

The visual arts encompasses a wide range of artistic traditions, across all kinds of mediums and cultures. These are often essential parts of both our specific and collective cultural heritages. However, the creation of the visual arts, of all kinds, does not come free. Artists need wages to live, as well as money for materials - and venues need to be able to afford said art. When drafting a visual arts grant proposal,  it's essential to use data to back up your argument for the importance of your nonprofit. This could include potential audience demographics in your region, or the potential revenue. But you need to be an evocative storyteller as well, demonstrating a clear enthusiasm for the visual arts, and explaining clearly how your nonprofit can help promote them in your area.
