The Yukon Territory is one of the least populated regions of Canada, but has a lot of unique culture and history associated with it. There are many challenges to living in this northern wilderness, including poverty, food insecurity, and environmental damage from resource extraction. 

There are many Yukon nonprofits that have made it their mission to tackle these challenges. These nonprofits are only able to do what they do thanks to the generous funding provided by Yukon grants. These grants can be put towards all kinds of  purposes, including environmental and cultural conservation, or programs that help  provide food and shelter to those that need it most. 

There are many different kinds of organizations that might provide Yukon grants. This could include both provincial agencies, as well as private foundations or community foundations. 

When drafting a grant proposal relating to a specific province, it's essential that you prepare relevant, accurate and local data. A good place to start could include Statistics Canada or the Yukon Bureau of Statistics.
