Puerto Rico is noted for its unique relationship with the United States - as well as its vibrant cultural and beautiful landscapes. The island also faces its fair share of challenges, of course. This includes economic struggles, high unemployment and a declining population. Poverty in particular is a constant struggle for many inhabitants. 

There are many nonprofits who have made it their missions to tackle challenges across the state. These nonprofits are only able to pursue these missions thanks to the generous funding provided by Puerto Rico grants. These grants can be put towards all kinds of purposes, depending on the mission of the nonprofit in question.

There are, similarly, many different nonprofits that might provide Puerto Rico grants. This includes many different private and community foundations, such as the Puerto Rico Community Foundation.
