Writing Capacity Building Grant Proposals
Webinar date: March 3, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Let’s be honest, finding the resources you need to sustain your nonprofit is challenging.
Capacity building grants can be a solution to help you manage your organization’s future and meet the ever-changing demands of your community.
Since the pandemic, funders have increased their focus on providing more resources to help nonprofit organizations maintain and build their capacity to provide services. This renewed focus on capacity building makes it an ideal time to capitalize on this trend and apply for funding to help your organization operate more effectively and efficiently. But there are unique differences between capacity building grants and regular, programmatic grants that you must understand if you want to write a successful proposal.
During this webinar, Alice Ruhnke will define and discuss the fundamentals of capacity building grant proposals. She will introduce you to a practical approach with examples based on real experiences.
(FREE) Data Tools for Grant Writing and Evaluation
Webinar date: March 4, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Finding credible, up-to-date data to justify grant requests can be a time consuming process, especially when you need information for custom geographies like school districts, health system service areas, or specific ZIP codes and census tracts. Digging through multiple federal data sources and trying to turn raw numbers into clear, compelling evidence often slows down the grant writing and evaluation process.
During this webinar Jordan Rhodes will introduce SparkMap, an easy-to-use data tool that brings together information from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, CDC, and other trusted sources to simplify needs assessments and research. You’ll see how SparkMap helps nonprofits and researchers quickly find the data, maps, and visualizations they need to support stronger proposals and evaluations.
Is Nonprofit Consulting Right For You?
Webinar date: March 5, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
To become a successful nonprofit consultant, it’s vital that you know what’s involved.
There is often the misconception that people who own their business have all the time in the world, make their own schedule, make all the money they want, and live the life of their dreams immediately. While this is certainly possible, it’s not where most of us start. Continued long-term success demands goal setting and strategic planning.
In this webinar, Mandy Pearce will offer her expert insights into this process. You'll gain essential knowledge on planning, goal setting, and the initial steps to take so you can achieve success more efficiently than by trial and error.
