Support Available for Grassroots Women's Organizations
Mary's Pence Grant Program
Application deadline: Initial funding inquiry forms may be submitted at any time and are reviewed from April to June and from October to December, annually.
Grant amount: Up to $7,500
Description: Mary’s Pence funds grassroots women-led and -focused nonprofit organizations or groups working with a fiscal sponsor. Eligible organizations have budgets of $250,000 or less. They are located in the U.S. and their work takes place in the U.S. Mary's Pence funding is focused on social justice actions that are long term and create sustainable systems change. Mary's Pence values subsidiarity—that is those who are most impacted are part of the decision-making. Funds are provided to organizations whose work centers on human dignity, the common good, the right to economic security, dignified work, care for the earth, gender justice, and nonviolence. To date, Mary's Pence has awarded over $2 million in grants to more than 700 grassroots organizations throughout the U.S.
Grants Enable Nonprofits to Leverage Technology for Mission Impact
AWS Imagine Grant Program U.S.
Application deadline: Applications will be accepted from April 14 to June 2, 2025.
Grant amount: Varies by category to include up to $200,000 in unrestricted funding, AWS promotional credit, and other supports
Description: The AWS Imagine Grant Program U.S. supports nonprofit organizations in the United States who are using cloud technology to accelerate their missions. The program seeks to fund a diverse set of projects that leverage cloud technology for mission impact across the nonprofit sector. All mission and cause areas are welcome, excluding educational institutions. Awards are provided in three categories, based on an organization’s goals and the stage of their technology adoption journey. The Pathfinder - Generative AI award provides support for highly innovative, mission-critical projects that leverage generative AI. The Go Further, Faster award provides support for highly innovative projects that leverage the cloud. The Momentum to Modernize award provides support for infrastructure projects that allow nonprofits to transform and enhance their core mission operations with technology, such as migrating servers to the cloud and modernizing new and existing applications.

Wilhelm Family Foundation
Application deadline: May 12, 2025
Geographic scope: United States, with emphasis on California
Description: The Wilhelm Family Foundation's mission is to help expand artists’ access to resources by supporting nonprofit organizations working to make creative expression, experimentation, public programming, and discourse accessible to all people, artists and non-artists alike. The Fund makes 20 to 30 grants annually to small creative organizations of all types across the United States, with the majority of grants supporting organizations in California. The focus is on organizations that align with the Foundation's mission and values, are community focused, embody intersectional practices and disciplines, and further dialogue around creativity, cultural, environmental, and social justice issues.

Incyte Healthcare-Related Charitable Contributions, Sponsorship, and Membership Requests
Application deadline: None
Description: Incyte Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of therapeutics in areas including oncology and dermatology, offers support through its Healthcare-Related Charitable Contributions, Sponsorship, and Membership Requests program. The focus is on supporting organizations in the United States ensuring that students, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, and patient advocates have access to healthcare information. Eligible organizations may include medical schools, medical associations and societies, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, patient advocacy groups, and hospitals and medical centers.

Ameriprise Financial Community Relations Program
Application deadline: January 15 and May 15, annually
Geographic scope: Communities served by Ameriprise Financial, as well as national and regional initiatives
Description: Ameriprise Financial corporate grantmaking is dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods across the country where company employees, advisors, and clients live and work. Grantmaking focuses on meeting basic needs, including hunger, shelter, and adult self-sufficiency; community vitality, including community development and cultural enrichment; and organizations in their Minneapolis headquarters community that have active Ameriprise Financial volunteer engagement. Preference is given to organizations demonstrating volunteerism by Ameriprise Financial employees and advisors.
Funding Promotes Economic Stability for Texas Working Families
Texas Mutual Community Funding: Generational Learning RFP
Application deadline: Applications will be accepted from April 14 to May 16, 2025.
Geographic scope: Texas
Grant amount: $25,000 to $100,000
Description: Texas Mutual will award $8 million in grants to nonprofit organizations in Texas in 2025 through two requests for proposals (RFPs). The Generational Learning RFP seeks to support working families to ensure they have the resources they need to achieve economic stability. Support will be provided for nonprofit organizations focused on improving health and wellness and expanding access to childcare, as well as nonprofits providing case management and wraparound support for clients to ensure families have the resources they need. (The Workforce Development and Safety Training RFP will open for applications in August 2025.)
Midwest Community Organizing Efforts Supported
Needmor Fund for Social Justice
Application deadline: Letters of inquiry for first-time applicants will be accepted until May 15, 2025.
Geographic scope: IL, IN, IA, MI, MN, MO, OH, and WI
Description: The mission of The Needmor Fund for Social Justice is to work with others to bring about social justice. The Fund’s Core Grants Program provides general operating support to groups engaged in community organizing in the Midwest—specifically Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Through support of community organizing, the Fund seeks to 1) remove systemic barriers to the practice of democracy by encouraging the efforts of people who are working together for justice and the common good, 2) encourage involvement in community affairs by people whose participation has been systemically denied, and 3) foster the active participation of all citizens in crafting vision, values, and policies that are more equitable. Support focuses on groups that organize low- and moderate-income people, engage those whose participation in democratic society has been systemically denied, are membership-based and democratically run, focus on leadership development, and engage in direct action.

Eversource Energy Foundation
Application deadline: None
Geographic scope: Eversource's service territory in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire
Grant amount: Typically $1,000 to $10,000
Description: The Eversource Energy Foundation provides sponsorships and grants to nonprofit organizations within Eversource's service territory in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Funding focus areas include community wellness and basic needs, education, clean energy and environmental stewardship, community awareness and engagement, and community, economic, and workforce development.
