Refine Your Search Terms to Maximize Grant Research Results
If you are using a search engine to look for grant opportunities in your specific mission area, pay attention to the terms you are using in your search. If you are specifically looking for "human services," you may miss out on funders that categorize that work as "social services." Try searching for different iterations of your mission focus. The GrantStation website provides a list of common search terms. And if you have a GrantStation Membership and search using our databases, we've already done the work of interpreting the variety of language funders use and streamlining it into our search system.
