Free Outdoor Concerts Funded in U.S. Communities
Levitt Foundation: Levitt Music Series Grants

Application deadline: June 30, 2025
Grant amount: Up to $40,000 per year for three years
Description: The Levitt Foundation's Levitt Music Series Grants provide three-year matching grants to bring free outdoor concerts to communities across the United States. Applications are accepted in the following categories: Levitt AMP is geared to towns and cities with populations under 250,000. Levitt VIBE, geared to large cities with a population over 250,000, brings free outdoor concerts to neighborhoods where there is limited access to arts programming and live music. Levitt BLOC, geared to communities of any size, activates different neighborhoods in a town or city by “layering” concerts across multiple public spaces. Nonprofit organizations located in the same town, city, or county of the proposed music series are eligible to apply.

Aerie Real Foundation

Application deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The upcoming deadline is June 27, 2025.
Geographic scope: United States and Canada
Grant amount: Up to $10,000
Description: The Aerie Real Foundation's Community Grants support nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and Canada that are focused on confidence, inclusivity, and sustainability. Support is provided for projects that build confidence and increase mental well-being in young women, promote inclusive communities, or protect the planet.

Grants Fuel Youth Interest in Oral Health Careers
Delta Dental Institute: Delta Dental Future Workforce Fund

Application deadline: June 11, 2025
Description: The Delta Dental Future Workforce Fund, an initiative of the Delta Dental Institute, invests up to $1 million annually in comprehensive solutions, innovative pilots, and scalable models that inspire school-aged children to pursue a career in oral health. The Fund invites ideas to address the lack of awareness of oral health careers and to increase the supply of candidates for the workforce. Applications should demonstrate how the concept would be implemented for growth or how an existing program is ready to be scaled at the national level.

Funds Cover Litigation Expenses for Cases Advancing Justice
The Impact Fund

Application deadline: The remaining 2025 deadlines for letters of inquiry are July 8 and October 7.
Grant amount: Typically $10,000 to $50,000
Description: The Impact Fund provides grants to legal services nonprofits, private attorneys, and small law firms in the United States who seek to confront economic, environmental, racial, and social injustice. Funding is provided for specific cases targeting social justice, including human and civil rights; environmental justice; and economic justice, including workers' rights and consumer protection. Grants may be used for out-of-pocket litigation expenses such as expert fees and discovery costs, but not for attorneys’ fees, staff, or other overhead. Most grants are for class actions, though funding may be provided for other cases that will have a systemic impact.

Grants up to $1 Million Target Youth Mental Health in Six States
The Tow Foundation: 2025 Innovation Fund

Application deadline: May 23, 2025
Geographic scope: CA, CT, MA, NC, NY, or PA
Grant amount: $300,000 to $1 million over three years
Description: The Tow Foundation's 2025 Innovation Fund will support nonprofit organizations in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, and Pennsylvania that are innovatively expanding access to the care and support that youth need to thrive. Up to ten general operating support grants will be awarded to organizations that are improving youth mental health and well-being and serving young people between the ages of 0-25. The Fund takes a broad and inclusive approach when imagining the kinds of care and support that may have a positive impact on youth mental health and well-being and welcomes submissions from a diverse array of organizations working in a variety of community, school, and clinical settings.

Patterson Family Foundation

Geographic scope: Rural Kansas and western Missouri counties
Description: The Patterson Family Foundation provides support in rural Kansas and western Missouri counties with fewer than 50,000 residents. Areas of interest include economic opportunity, with a focus on entrepreneurship and business support, trades workforce development, childcare, and innovation; education, with a focus on high school career and technical education, advanced and specialized course access, teacher pipeline development, and innovation; healthcare, with a focus on preventative care access, specialty care access, healthcare workforce development, and innovation in healthcare; and community engagement, with a focus on youth engagement, community foundations, and innovation.

Litter Prevention and Beautification Supported in Louisiana
Keep Louisiana Beautiful

Application deadline: June 20, 2025
Geographic scope: Louisiana
Description: Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) seeks to promote personal, corporate, and community responsibility for a clean and beautiful Louisiana. KLB is currently accepting applications through several grant programs: The Healthy Communities Grant funds local programs focused on litter removal, prevention, and enforcement; waste management and reduction; recycling and reusing; and education on litter prevention and environmental stewardship. The Beautification Grant funds the purchase of native trees and plants and welcome signs to beautify entry points of municipalities and parishes or highly visible and trafficked roadway medians. The Greener Grounds Grant aims to promote better waste reduction, recycling, and litter prevention at large Louisiana outdoor events.

Grants Benefit Arizonans Affected by Substance Use and Justice Involvement
Arizona Justice Reinvestment Grants Program

Application deadline: May 31, 2025
Geographic scope: Arizona
Description: The Arizona Justice Reinvestment Grants Program, administered by Vitalyst Health Foundation and the Technical Assistance Partnership of Arizona, provides funding to organizations in Arizona supporting people impacted by substance use or the justice system. Grants are provided to organizations working on the following: 1) public and behavioral health initiatives for substance use prevention, treatment, and early intervention services; 2) restorative justice, jail diversion, workforce development, and mentoring services for economically disadvantaged individuals in communities disproportionately affected by higher arrest and incarceration rates; 3) addressing the root causes of crime, reducing drug-related arrests, and lowering the prison population; and 4) developing technology and programs to restore civil rights and expunge criminal records. Seed Money and More: Types of Support for New Projects

If your organization is working to get a new program or project off the ground, there are several types of support to look for. Some funders offer support for the planning phase of your efforts. In addition, startup funding (sometimes called seed money) is often available for specific efforts, not just new organizations. Other funders will offer technical assistance to help your organization work through issues that arise.
