Writing Capacity Building Grant Proposals
Webinar date: March 3, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Let’s be honest, finding the resources you need to sustain your nonprofit is challenging.
Capacity building grants can be a solution to help you manage your organization’s future and meet the ever-changing demands of your community.
Since the pandemic, funders have increased their focus on providing more resources to help nonprofit organizations maintain and build their capacity to provide services. This renewed focus on capacity building makes it an ideal time to capitalize on this trend and apply for funding to help your organization operate more effectively and efficiently. But there are unique differences between capacity building grants and regular, programmatic grants that you must understand if you want to write a successful proposal.
During this webinar, Alice Ruhnke will define and discuss the fundamentals of capacity building grant proposals. She will introduce you to a practical approach with examples based on real experiences.
Corporate Giving: Beyond Sponsorships
Webinar date: March 9, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Many nonprofits see corporate partnerships as a promising revenue stream but struggle to know where to begin or how to stand out in a crowded landscape. With companies shifting their giving priorities and redefining what meaningful social impact looks like, it can feel challenging to identify the right opportunities or to confidently approach potential partners with ideas that resonate.
During this TargetED session, Alice Ruhnke and Sarah Barton will walk you through the essential elements of building strong, mutually beneficial corporate relationships. You’ll explore practical steps to ensure your organization is truly “corporate ready.”
Ripple Mapping: A Visual Storytelling Workshop for Nonprofit Impact
Webinar date: March 10, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Many nonprofits know their work creates meaningful change, yet struggle to clearly capture and communicate the full scope of their impact. Outcomes extend beyond simple metrics, partnerships create ripple effects that go undocumented, and valuable learning often stays informal or trapped in people’s heads. Traditional evaluation tools can feel disconnected from real-world experience, leaving teams without a shared way to name, visualize, and tell the deeper story of their work.
During this webinar, Sarah Barton will introduce Ripple Mapping as a practical, visual approach for documenting and communicating nonprofit impact without adding unnecessary evaluation burden. She’ll walk you through how ripple mapping works, when it’s most effective, and why it’s especially useful for surfacing outcomes, relationships, and influence that are often missed in standard reports and proposals.
